    1. ) In the name of God Amen the thirtieth day of April in the Second Yeare of the Reigne of our most gracious Sovereigns Lord George by the grace of God King of Britain, France, and Ireland, defender of the faith &c. I William Havens of Shelter Island in the County of Suffolke within the province of New Yorke Yeoman am Sicke and weak of Body, but perfect and Sound of mind and Memory thankes be unto Almighty God for the same do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament Revoking and utterly disavowing all other Wills and Testaments by me formerly made to be void Null and of none Effect and
    2. ) And this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following first of all and principally I bequeath my Soul unto Almighty God my Maker Creator and Redeemer And my Body to the Earth from whence it came to be buried in decent and Christian Burial at the Descretion of my Executor hereafter named.
      1. ) Item: I give and bequeath unto Elennor Terry my mother all my Tacke of Land being two Hundred and Fifty Acres Scituate lying and Being on Shelter Island Aforesaid. To have and hold all and Singular the said Two Hundred and fifty Acres of Land Together with all the Appurtenance there unto belonging or anyways Appaineing unto the said Elennor Terry my Mother during her Natural Life.
      2. ) Item: I give and Bequeath unto George Havens, Jonathan Havens, and John Havens, all my Tracke of Land above mentioned after the decease of Elennor Terry my Mother to be equally divided between them to have and hold all and Singular the said to Hundred and Fifty Acres of Land these and every there Appurtenance unto them the said George Havens, Jonathan Havens, and John Havens there heris and Assigns for Ever.
      3. ) Item: I give and bequeath unto Ruth Terry, my Sister one Youke of Oxan, Two Cowes and fourteen Sheep to be delivered within Six Months after my Decease
      4. ) Item I give and bequeath unto Ruth Terry my Sister Twenty Pounds of Current Money of of New York
      5. ) Item: I give and bequeath unto Content Payne, Pacion Loper, desire Gardiner, and Abigail Havens my Sisters the Sum of Ten Pounds apiec of Current Money of New York, now my Will and meaning is the Money above given shall be paid Equally by George Havens, Jonathan Havens, and John Havens my Brothers out of my Two Hundred and Fifty acres of Land after Elennor Terry, my Mother is decease and not before.
      6. ) Item: all the residue of my Goods, Chattel, and Catel not by here by me given nor bequeathed, I do give and bequeath unto John Havens my brother whom I doe ordain and declare and make my Whole and Sole Executor, paying all my Debts and Legacies performing this my last Will and Testament. Havens-329 and Havens-180 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same. The death date is off by one year, which is quite common due to a change in calendar.
