Isaac "Tuck" Haviland, son of Benjamin Haviland & Charity _____, was born 23 May 1722 (need source - Josephine C. Frost records just "ca 1722"). He was married 15 Mar 1740 at the Mamaroneck Meeting, Rye, NY, to Elizabeth Bates. "First intentions of marriage given at Mamaroneck Meeting 10 of 12 mo., 1740; second intentions, 8 of 3 mo., 1740; reported accomplished 12 of 4 mo., 1740. They resided at the Oblong. They had issue: Hannah, Elizabeth, Phebe, Martha, Sarah, Annie, Charity, John, Isaac "Young Tuck", and Lydia.[1][2]
He was noted as residing in The Oblong in Dutchess County, New York in 1755 when he was enumerated in an census of Quakers in regard to service in the militia.[3] His profession was that of a blacksmith.[3]
He died before 16 Apr 1795 in Mamaroneck, Westchester, New York.
