Lydia Hawes was born November 12, 1769, in Fishersfield, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, a daughter of Obadiah Hawes and Tabitha Richardson. On July 13, 1788, in New Hampshire, Lydia married Thomas Rowell. [1] Thomas B. Rowel, born 1764 was son of Abraham Rowell and Elizabeth Eastman. [2]
Lydia and Thomas had as many as nine children. [3]
