Biography

Jenny was born in 1852. Jenny is the child of Arthur Hawthorn and Isabella Hill. [1] She never married. She was a Farmer. Jenny is interred in St Johns COI cemetery.[2] She shared the 13 acre family farm with sister Margaret after her fathers death. SEE Hawthorn-263 In Jenny's will, estate £347-13-0, she left her share of farm to Nephew John Irvine, (Executor), of Ballymuldrogh, formerly of Mullaghdoo. Witnessed by his wife Agnes NOTE- Jenny's age on headstone given as 86

    Erected by Isabella HILL in memory of her husband Arthur Hawthorne who died 1st Aug. 1900 aged 75 years. Also their child Martha who died in infancy. The above-named Isabella Hill died 6th July 1906 aged 79 years. Jenny Hawthorne who died 25th August 1939 aged 86 years. Margaret Hawthorne died 5th Dec. 1945 aged 83 years.
