Essie was born on 17 Nov 1868 in Banbridge, Ireland. Her father was John Hawthorn and her mother was Martha Clowney.[1]
Essie had never married when she died on 20 Jan 1954 in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. Her will was granted on 24 Jun 1959,"Hawthorne Essie of Ballynamagna Rathfriland county Down spinster died 20 January 1954 Administration Belfast 24 June to David Trimble and William John Trimble farmers. Effects £3. Registered Land £200 7s. 6d."
