Ivy was born on 26 April 1846 at an unknown location. He was the son of John Murphy Hawthorn and Nancy McILWAIN.[1]
Ivy died at the age of 13 on 13 August 1859 at an unknown location.
Ivy was buried after 13 August 1859 in Ethelsville Cemetery, Ethelsville, Pickens County, Alabama, USA.[2]
