Agnes Edith Hawthorne was born on 2nd February 1900 at Moore, Queensland (Australia). She was the older daughter of Irish emigrant, Samuel Hawthorne, and Queensland-born Ellen Fortune. [1] She attended the Moore Provisional School (re-named Moore State School in 1908).
Agnes married Walter Lane on 27th September 1922 at Queensland. [2]
She passed away on 3rd October 1978 at Brisbane, Queensland. [3]
