A little Family History: After Sarah Janes Johnston's death in 1902, David married Margaret Hill in 1907, they didn't have any children. The BIG split up of the family was as a result of Sarah's death and the riots and burning of homes in Belfast of both Catholics & Protestants from 1900 - 1920's, many families suffered dearly! As per David and Sarah-Janes children, three of the younger children, Samuel, Henry & John were placed in boarding schools; Thomas, Sarah, Willan-David & James, being older, had to fend for themselves. by Emanuel (Manny) Hawthorne.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with David by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with David:
Hawthorne-2902 and Hawthorne-605 appear to represent the same person because: Profile was set up for David and his second spouse, Margaret Hill. Need to merge this David with David and his first spouse, Sarah Johnson.
If you agree these are duplicates, please complete the merge.
It looks like a few of the children attached to David Hawthorn and Sarah Johnson actually belong to William Hawthorn and Eliza Ann Dickson. I wanted to check with you before I move them to the correct parents.
