William (Hay) Hay Fourth Earl of Errol is a member of Clan Hay.
William (Hay) Hay Fourth Earl of Errol was killed in Action during the War of the League of Cambrai at the Battle of Flodden Field.

William Hay, 4th Earl of Erroll was the son of William Hay, 3rd Earl of Erroll and Lady Isabella Gordon.[1]
He married, firstly, Christian Lyon, daughter of John Lyon, 3rd Lord Glamis and Elizabeth Scrymgeour, circa 24 April 1492.[1] They had issue:
- William Hay, 5th Earl of Erroll+1 d. 28 Jul 1522
- Lady Elizabeth Hay+[1] d. Oct 1574
- Lady Isabel Hay, married after 18 July 1522 William Forbes of Tolquhon[2]
He married, secondly, Margaret Kerr, daughter of Andrew Kerr of Auldtounburn and Cessford and Margaret Tweedie, circa 17 May 1509.[1]

He succeeded to the title of 4th Lord Hay and to the title of 4th Earl of Erroll on 14 January 1506/7.[1]
He held the office of Hereditary Sheriff of Aberdeen on 10 February 1510/11.[1]
He fought and died in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513and he died at Flodden Field, Northumberland, England.[1][3]
