Biography

Elizabeth's mother is given as Sarah Hayes in the 1870 census Elizabeth Hayes' first husband died in June 1880. Apparently she remarried in the interval between 1880 and 1885 because her Maltby children were still in the household but her last name on the Minnesota census was changed to Craigie. ^[1]
