The Late Mrs. J. Bowerman

Mrs. Agnes Bowerman, of Bredbo, widow of the late Mr, John Bowerman, died on Sunday last at the age of 63 years. The deceased lady was the second daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Hayes, of Cooma. Deceased was born at Rosebrook, and lived at Cooma and Bredbo all her life. Her husband died three years ago, and she is survived by three sons and six daughters ; her sons being James and Frank of Bredbo. and William of Cooma, and daughters Mrs. R. Formby of Sydney, Mrs. T. South of Goulburn, Mrs. J. Newell of Cooma, Mrs. W. Mayo, Alice and Vera of Bredbo ; there were 18 grand children. The funeral took place on Monday in the R.C. portion of the Bredbo cemetery. The Rev. Father McDade read the service, there being a large gathering of residents to pay the last tribute to a highly respected resident. The pallbearers were Messrs Oswald Scott, William Bluett, Arthur Mortlock, William McGuigan, Fred Robinson and William Mortlock. Wreaths were from Frank Eva and family, from Edie and Andy, Will Clara Eric and Gwen, Elsie Jim and little Jean, Lizzie Rog and Miles, Will Annie and family, Jack and Maria, from Maude Tom and children, Mag Kate and Frank, W.
