Monroe Hays was enumerated as head of the household at Selfville Village Private Road, Rock Springs, Blount County, Alabama for the April 3, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1897 in Alabama and married. He was first married at the age of twenty-seven. He was a renter and a barber (barber shop) as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Ellie L Hays, daughter Marjorie Hays, son Terry Hays and daughter Elouise Hays.[1]

On April 1, 1935, William M Hays lived at Third Street, Warrior, Election Precinct 17, Jefferson County, Alabama.[2]

He was noted as born 1897 in Alabama and married. He rented a home and was a barber (owner of barber shop) as seen in this image of the original census.
