It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Harmon by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Harmon:
I have seen on Ancestry and now here that Harmon A Hayes was the father of Celia B Hayes. There are records for Harmon Atkins Hayes, including his Find a Grave, who married Elizabeth Cage. I can find no record of the Harmon A Hayes married to Elizabeth Cage having Archibald as his middle name, only Atkins. I do not believe that Harmon A Hayes is the same Archibald Hayes that fathered Celia.
How do we know his middle name is Archibald? I'm sure he is Harman A. Hays. Just wondering if we are going off of his childs name Archibald or if there is another reason. Thanks,Sandy (brown81360)
Hayes-6295 and Hays-2606 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate. LNAB is "Hays" on all records. the private child needs to be opened or removed
