Nicholas and his brother, John, came to USA, circa 1840. Nicholas was said to have traveled the "big sea" several times and was once ship-wrecked off the coast of Nova Scotia. He traveled over time and settled in Fayette County, Georgia. He married Malinda Brown. He later moved to Alabama. John stayed in New York and became a successful business man. He never married.
