Biography

Hannah Haynes was baptized by Reverend John Cuthbertson in the Paxtang area of Lancaster County, Province of Pennsylvania in 1760. {Notation found in his notebook]. She married James Sawyer circa 1783. She died on December 18,1785 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina and is buried in the Steele Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Hannah was born in 1760. She was the daughter of Bartholomew Haynes and Jane Sawyer. She passed away in 1875.
