Elmer was born in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. [1][2]
Sometime before 1935 his family moved to Gracemont Township, Caddo County, Oklahoma[3] between the towns of Anadarko and Gracemont, Oklahoma.
He was living there when he married Elsie Nance.[4] He later married Mollie Morrow.
Elmer left this life in August, 1981[5] and is buried in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko, Oklahoma.[6]
