Martha Elizabeth Haynes, b 3-27-1838, d 1-14-1905, m 9-27-1862 Denton, TX William H. Mounts, b 4-2-1833, d 5-5-1889. In 1870 they were trying to build a church with Rev. John Haynes and Rev. Donald as pastors. Mattie E. Haynes taught Sunday school. Col "Harry" Mounts began the 1869 Temperance Movement.
