Notes

Note NI1385NOTES (This note appears to be about Jonathan's brother William)
"Settled in Rockhill Bucks Co. Pa. and married Ann Roberts of that place. [r1p12], William settled in Rockhill Township near the border of Richland Township in a section known as the ""Bog"" in 1740. He took up a large plantation on which he erected and operated a saw mill. He died on a part of his plantation 4 mo. 12, 1800. By his will made 12 mo. 2,1797, and probated 5 mo. 12, 1800, he directed that the plantation on which his son William lived containing 93 acres and 146 perches should be sold. The saw mill with a tract of land was devised to his son Jesse and remained in the family for several generations. In addition to legacies to his several children he bequeathed to his sister Ann Morgan a legacy of ten pounds if she outlived him and if she did not it was to be paid to her daughter Mary. [r4p246], Richland Township is bounded on the south by Rockhill where William Heacock built his mill and by Haycock Township on the East. Richland Township is about five miles wide and seven miles long. Quakertown is located at its center and the Heacock and related families lived near the southern line within walking distance of each other. [r8p2]"

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Jonathan by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Jonathan:
