Biography

Jonas Hedick was born 18 Nov 1767 in Lincoln County, North Carolina. He was the son of Andrew H. Hedick (1738 - 1813) and Catherine (Catarin) Hedick (1741 - 1826)

Marriage

Jonas married Barbara Ramsour 4 Dec. 1792 in Lincoln County, NC. Marriage bond. Bondsman: Daniel Shufford. [1] Jonas Hedick and his sister Elizabeth married siblings Barbara and John Ramsour. They were brother and sister as well as brother-in-law sister-in-law.

From this union were the following children:

  1. John Hedick b. 30 Mar. 1794
  2. "Infant Son" Hedick Died Young
  3. David Hedick (1802 - 1876)
  4. Jacob Hedick (1805 - 1881)
  5. Polly Hedick b. ca 1811
  6. Leah Hedrick Lael (1814–1897)

All the children were born in Lincoln Co., NC.

Death
