The daughter of William Heller and Laura Retterer, Katherine A. Heller was born in Marion County, Ohio on 29 Jan 1905.
She graduated in 1923 from Grand Prairie High School in Marion, Marion County, Ohio.
She married John Chesney Patton (1900-1959) on 8 Feb 1926. Their children:
- Miriam Katherine (Patton) Smith (1928-1986)
- William Chesney Patton (1930-1999)
- Evelyn C (Patton) Zimmer (1934-2015)
- Charles D Patton (1941-1989)
- Cecilia (Patton) Morrison
- Donna (Patton) Drake
Katherine passed away at Bucyrus Community Hospital in Bucyrus, Crawford County, Ohio on 14 May 1981 following a two-year illness.
