Biography
Matthew Peter Heller was born on January 9, 1854, in Van Wert, Ohio, the son of Jacob. He married Mary Amanda Hickman on December 23, 1874, in Watson, Michigan. They had four children in 14 years. He died on July 24, 1913, in Lansing, Michigan, at the age of 59, and was buried there.
