Biography
Frederick came to Overton Co., Tenn, i 1807 with his parents. He served in the war of 1812. Served in Battalion #3, known as Woodfolk's Battalion. Served from 1814=1815. Involved in the Battle of New Orleans. He remained in that part of Overton Co., which became Fentress Co., until 1826 when he acquired land in Roane Co., Tenn. In 1829 he traveled to Tazwell Co., Ill., with his brother Adam's family. He returned to Tenn., where his vamily lived until about 1852, when he took up military bounty land in Laclede Co., Missouri. After selling his land he made a short stay in aline Co., Ill. He returned to Missouri living the rest of his life in Shannon Co. He died sometime after 1870.
