Biography
Martha was born about 1872 probably in either Knox or Bell County, Kentucky, and she died sometime after the 1920 federal census. Several family trees online show different parents for her, but her marriage record makes it clear she was the daughter of Jesse, not Earl. I'm not sure who Earl's daughter Martha married. This isn't her. Her 1891 marriage took place at her sister Phoebe Hembree Hendricksons, and the permission slip was signed by her father Jesse. I haven't found a death record yet, but for now I'm assuming her mother was Jesse's wife Margaret Gibson.
