Biography

Note: Woodstock was part of Suffolk County, Massachusetts, until 1731 when it became part of Worcester County, Massachusetts. In 1749, Woodstock became a town in Windham County, Connecticut.[1]

Margaret Hemingway was born on 22 Apr 1739 in Woodstock, dau of Isaac & Mercy (unknown) Hemingway. [2]

In 1744, Thomas Chandler of Woodstock was appointed guardian of Margaret, aged about five years.[3]
