Robert Hemingway was my grandfather. My mother, who is still alive remembers him. I have a photo somewhere. He was a carpenter: some of his tools were passed onto my father who followed him into that trade. He lied about his DOB on his marriage certificate as he was already well into his 40's when he got married for the first time. This caused Guy Yeomans Hemingway some problems in tracing his line. I would love to hear more stories about him.
