Birth and Parents

Elizabeth (Hemingway) Hall was born in Massachusetts.

Elizabeth, the daughter of Ralph Hemingway and Elizabeth Hewes was born on 31 May 31 1645, at Roxbury, Massachusetts.[1]

Marriage

Elizabeth married John Holbrook on 24 November 1663 at Dorchester, Massachusetts.[2]They had four children. The first was born at Dorchester and the other three were born at Roxbury:

  1. John Holbrook
  2. Elizabeth Holbrook
  3. Abigail Holbrook
  4. Daniel Holbrook.

After John Holbrook died in 1678, Elizabeth married 2) Richard Hall on 22 May 1679 at Roxbury, Massachusetts. [3]They had two children born at Roxbury:

  1. Martha Hall (b. 6 Sep 1680)
  2. Richard Hall (b. 31 Jan 1682/3)

Death and Burial

Elizabeth died on 30 November1719 at Roxbury, and is buried in Eliot Burying Ground at Roxbury, Suffolk, Massachusetts.[4]
