I apologize for recents edits that impacted this profile and others. I first established Samuel Hemingway and Johnson-20355 (Margaret, dau of John Johnson and Margaret Morris), as parents of Isaac Hemingway. I later made edits to point to a different Margaret: Johnson-19369 (the two Margarets are actually 2nd cousins). Unfortunately, profiles of those involved lacked sources so I began to sort out the families and search for sources. After establishing Johnson-19369 as Samuel Hemingway’s wife and Isaac’s mother, I have since gone back to the original theory; thus, the latest edits back to Johnson-20355. Online sources are scarce, and what is found is often confusing, but, I will continue looking at these relationships and add comments and sources as the search progresses.
