"Son of Abraham Hemingway II and Mercy Tuttle. He served in the Revolutionary War in the Conn. Militia. He was married 3 or 4 times. All of his children were with Anna Smith. Their children: Sarah, Polly, Anna, Elizabeth, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Labon, Charlotte, Hannah, and Mary.:
