RELIGION: Samuel became a Mormon in the 1830s. They were driven out of Missouri in 1839. Samuel became a High Priest of the Mormon Church in Nauvoo. In the winter of 1846 Samuel was driven out of Nauvoo at cannon point along with other Mormons.
LAND: Samuel bought Lot #44 in Caledonia in 1819.
