Biography
This is the only Janet Henderson I could find who was married in Lanark in the decades around which Janet would reasonably be expected to have married. A few of her children bear names that correspond with her mother and brothers and sisters.
It appears that Janet and John married one Sunday in Lanark, and then again the next Sunday in Lesmahagow, probably to accommodate both families.[1]
