Biography
Annie E. Henderson was born on East Folly Mountain, Colchester County, Nova Scotia to Daniel Henderson and Elizabeth (Bessie) Waugh. Her Father was a Section Foreman. On August 10, 1904 in Truro, Colchester County, Nova Scotia Annie married Rufus E, Burgess who was a Carpenter born in Old Barns. Witnesses to the ceremony included Thomas Burgess, Annie Burgess with the Reverend J.A, Kaulbach by Lisence of the Church of England. They made their home in Bible Hill, Truro, Nova Scotia. Annie died April 14, 1956 at the age of 70 years 11 months 11 days. Informant was Carl Burgess of Halifax her son. She is buried in Clifton, Colchester County, Nova Scotia.
