Hello Tom,

Just thinking back to Oct 2014 when I joined WikiTree. I stared at that 'add your comment here' screen, put in this and that, and changed it again - what did they want?!

I can see you are serious about your family tree. What we are seeking is a statement that you want to work with us, collaborate on your ancestors, add to WikiTree, find connections and share yours, -- however it is stated, we just want to make sure we get it right in confirming a new member, since many people visit WikiTree to do their own research but not to collaborate.

We'd love to have you join us - I hope you are one of the visitors who wants to join:)

Hi, thanks for having me on here! I have always wanted to know from whence we came, both our families! Ours {Henderson} was always shrouded in mystery My Nan [on my mums side] came from Switzerland and my grandad was a Bernados boy [orphanage]. on my fathers side is even more complex with him being sent to London at an early age to live with relatives. We used to visit people once in a while and not even know they were our second cousins! Only found that out about two years ago! I with some help from my new cousin Sylvia have traced my mums side back to about 1850, Dads will be tougher but I enjoy the hunt

Hi again Thomas. Thanks for the email. A little hint to help you with your search, check out the “Find” button. Clicking the “Matches for family”or the “Surnames” buttons may show you the way to some family info or connections.

In the “Help” area you can post questions in the G2G forum. We have a lot of people who are willing to help. Just ask. Good Luck.
