• Fact: http://familysearch.org/v1/LifeSketch Some of the original research done for Christian Henderson came from by her great-great granddaughter Lucille Holbrook Rasmussen gave Christian's christening date to be 17 April 1737 at Houston, Renfrewshire, Scotland. She was working off of information supplied by Christian's son Robert and other family records. She also worked from Nathan Hale Gardner's work. He was a descendant of Christine Henderson and also a professional genealogist who went to Scotland numerous times to compile his data. Lucille Holbrook Rasmussen was also in correspondence with another researcher in Scotland. At one date given for Christine's christening none of that older generation of THIS Gardner family was yet at Kilsyth, Stirlingshire, Scotland so the attached christening record at Kilsyth appears to have been wrongly invented for this person. There may be two reasons for this. There may have been one of this name at Kilsyth, or; this alleged record may have been generated by a descendant based on assumptions and without proof, or confused with other family data. It would be better to go to the original research records done by the generations closer to this person and to original church records before overriding information with ancestry family trees that are often full of errors, assumptions and that have attached wrong people and relationships to this family.
