DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
My ancestor, Mary Hendren, b. 1744 In Prince William Co., Virginia, was the daughter of John Hendren and Margaret Ann Jesper. My Mary married Stephen Noland about 1763. She was the cousin of the Mary Hendren who married the Glascock. Glascocks were a big well-known family in Richmond County, Virginia. The main mansion is still standing on the Rappahannock River. My ancestor John Hendren was a friend of Peter Glascock and they both lived in the Prince William and Fauquier Co. areas of Virginia. Both (probably) went on to Rowan Co. (now Davie), NC.
Glasscock-174 and Hendren-176 are not ready to be merged because: Conflicting data, needs more research. From reading the comments, many believe these are 2 different women altogether. Thanks
There seems to be a lot of confusion about this lady. I have a book about the Glasscock which gives some further information on her. The book should be in most genealogical sections of major libraries. I found a copy on Amazon. Title is The Glas(s)cocks of England and America. By Lawrence A. Glascock
On p. 218 there is a discussion about Both Mary Glascock and Mary Hendren. For someone who has more time, it might help to check this out. My personal opinion is that they are two different women.
I believe Mary's maiden name is not HENDREN, but GLASSCOCK. although her FAG memorial states this. Please see the will of John GLASSCOCK Glascock-157 that I added there today. In his will (written 1780) he names his daughter Mary RICTOR. I think this confirms that she is a GLASSCOCK and not a HENDREN. Her brother, John GLASSCOCK married Mary HENDREN, but she is not the same person that married Henry RECTOR and Joshua GORE.

Her maiden name should be HENDREN. If you have any questions, message me back.
