Biography

In the 1850 census, Anderson Hendricks, age 13, is listed with his parents in Russell county, Virginia. [1]

William Anderson Hendricks married (1) Alice Lucker on Dec. 1884 in Racine, Wisconsin. Marriage record shows his parents as Anderson and Elizabeth Hendricks and his birth location as Abingdon, Virginia. [2]

He married (2) Maggie A. (Welch) Fugate on Aug. 10, 1898 in Moultrie, Illinois. Marriage record shows his age was 41 and parents were Anderson Hendricks and Elizabeth Scott. [3]

In 1900, William and Maggie were living in Mattoon, Coles, Illinois. Census shows William was born in Aug 1841, had been married 22 years, and was a clothing salesman. Maggie was born in Jun 1858 and had 3 children. Two of her children were living with them. [4]

He probably died before 1910. Source needed.
