Elizabeth likely was a daughter of Simeon Hendrickson and his wife Fanny. It is possible that Elizabeth was her middle name, as Simeon and Fanny had an earlier daughter named Elizabeth who lived to 1847,

Ephraim married his second wife, Susanna (Susan) Schwyhart [b: 2 May 1809, PA; d: 27 Sep 1884; bur: Forest Hill Cemetery, Wyanet, Bureau Co., IL] on 20 Mar 1859. Susanna's parents were Joseph Swineheart [b: abt 1786, Washington Co., PA] and Elizabeth Zimmerman [b: abt 1787, VA]. Susanna's first marriage was to Walter W. Kinnick [b: 11 Feb 1810], with whom she had a number of children: John S., Mary E., Sarah Ann, Joseph, Walter Watson, Catharine, William, Jacob, Margaret (Maggie), Fanny Susan.
