Hendrix-1141 and Hendricks-3915 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, birth date, relationships. The surname spelling varies. I am unaware of any records suggesting that James Jefferson Hendricks ever spelled his name Hendrix, though his children did. Whether this is simply a lack of records, a lack of standardized spelling or if Hendrix was a later spelling of the name is unknown.
