Elmer G. Henry, age 82, of 13 Clinton St., Clark Mills, Oneida, New York, unexpectedly died at his home yesterday. He was a member of the Church of the Annunciation and had been a trustee there for more than 25 years. Mr. Henry was born in Lowville, New York and educated in Lowville, New York, schools.
In 1908 he married Emelia C. Brown in Clark Mills, NY.. They had lived there since Mrs. Henry died in 1954.
He was in the trucking business for many years before he became a proprietor of a local service station. For the past 10 years he had worked with his son in the Clark Mills, Western Auto Store. He served with the U.S. Army during the Cuban crisis of 1905-1908.
He leaves a son George F. Henry, Clark Mills; a daughter, Mrs. Edna Coyne, Clark Mills: three brothers, Lawrence in Muscatine, Iowa. Francis of Lowville, New York and Leon of Boonville, New York. He also has a sister Mrs. Adelaide Thisse of Lowville, New York.
