Biography

William Henry was born about 1789 in Tennessee, USA. His father was William Henry. [1]

He married Mary Polly McGaughey before 1810 based on birth of first daughter born 1811 in Tennessee. Mary McGaughey. In her book, Descendants of William and Margaret McGaughey 1740 - 1784, Polly Rachel McGaughey Sutton, on page 114 describes descendants of Revolutionary War Patriot Samuel McGaughey, including "MARY (POLLY), m. William Henry, 11 children." *[2]

He died before January 04, 1847 in Lawrence, Alabama, USA. Mary Polly McGaughey Henry was listed as widow in her mother Jane Laughlin McGaughey’s pension application for Patriot Samuel McGaughey.
