George Jasper Henry Jr., 75, died Thursday, Dec.16, 2010.

The funeral will be Monday, 11 a.m., at First United Methodist Church, followed by a time of visiting.

George graduated from the Citadel, and retired from Merrill Lynch with over 25 years as an account executive. He was a part of the initial planning for Wesley Shelter and had served as a member and chairman for Wilson's Recreation, Planning, and Industrial committees. Surviving is his wife, Mabel Gray King Henry; daughters, Ann Henry of Wilson, Beth Henry of Durham and Laura Horn (Mike) of Raleigh; grandsons, Patrick Gray Horn and William Henry Horn; sister, Jean H. Long of Pensacola, Fla.

Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church, PO Box 1423, Wilson, NC 27894.
