"Hazel Roberta Reiff was born May 20, 1909 to Ross and Matilda Henry in Oshkosh, Neb., and departed this life Friday, July 2, 2010, at the age of 101 in Greeley, Colo. When Hazel was young, her family moved to a farm north of Lewellen, Neb., where she attended school at a sod schoolhouse. ... Later the family moved to Madrid, Neb., where she graduated from high school. ... she went to Bible College in Colorado Springs, Colo., where she majored in music and Bible study, graduating in 1930. It was here at college that she met her future husband, Marvin Reiff.
