Son of John G Henson & Mary Cottrell Henson. Brother of James Matthew Henson. Grandson of William & Charity Henson (VA). Nephew of Pleasant Howell Henson. Jesse married Sara Jane COURTNEY 5 Oct 1843 in TN, daughter of Jefferson COURTNEY and Catherine COURTNEY.Jesse and Sarah were parents of Josephus HENSON. He was born 22 Aug 1846 in Knox, TN, and died in Ripley, MO. Josephus married Sara Jane TOWELL 9 Aug 1864 in IL, daughter of Isaac Whitehead TOWELL and Virgina WALTERS. Sara Jane was born 7 Dec 1847 in White, IL, and died 21 Nov 1906 in Ripley, MO.
