Ann Hanson married Stephen Atkinson on 15 May 1762 in St James Northam Parish, Goochland, Virginia.^[1]

On May 15th, 1762 she married Stephen Atkinson (Atkins). ^[2][3] They had the following children:

• Martha Atkinson, born on 18 Mar 1764 ^[5]
• William Atkinson, born on 1 May 1766 ^[6]
• Charity Atkins, born on 13 Nov 1768 ^[7]

• Elizabeth Atkinson, born on 25 Dec 1775 ^[9]

The names of the children above are shown as they are in the cited records. While most are Atkinson, some are Atkins. The first child, Mildred, who was born a month after their marriage, was recorded as Hanson in the record but she was listed with Stephen as father.

Her date of death is not known, but is listed as about 1808 in some family trees. No source is identified for this.
