Death Date: On his gravestone, Jesse's death date can be read as either June 24 1892 or 1897. However, in 1896 there is a record in the Arkansas Deed Book 74-531 in Washington County that says Jesse Henson & Pheby Henson sold 120 acres to Jesse Henson Jr for $500.

Lavina is a daughter of Jesse Osburn/Osborn and Sarah Elizabeth Lemaster of Mud Lick, Flat Gap, Johnson Co., KY. "Billy" and Lavina had 9 children: Jesse Sr., Pollyann, Elizabeth, Anna, Louisa, Mary, John, Frackin and Sousa. Wm "Billy" Henson and his wife died in Washington Co., AR.
William H. "Billy" Henson's father was also a William. He was born in Harper's Ferry, VA in 1745. His father was Paul Henson, mother unknown. He married Ann Jacobs b. 1759 in Harpers Ferry, VA. This Wm died on 20 Sep 1830 in KY.
