Mary Jane Herlocker, daughter of Josiah Herlocker and Margaret (Swartz) Herlocker, was born on 23 Sep. 1834 at Williamsport, Turbot., Northunberland Co., Pennsylvania, USA.[1]
She married William Addison Griffin, son of Aron Griffin and Betsey Bates, on 3 Feb. 1854 at McDonough Co., Illinois.[2][3][4]
She was one of 16 individuals that signed a document establishing the New Salem Christian Church, New Salem Township, McDonough County, Illinois. on 8 April 1859.[5] She and William Addison appeared on the census of 7 June 1860 at New Salem Township, McDonough Co., Illinois.[6] She and William Addison appeared on the census of 2 July 1870 at New Salem Township, McDonough Co., Illinois.[7] She and William Addison appeared on the census of 10 June 1880 at New Salem Township, McDonough Co., Illinois.[8] She appeared on the census of 11 Jun 1900 at Macomb, McDonough Co., Illinois.[9]
Mary died on 7 Sep. 1909 at Macomb, McDonough Co., Illinois, at age 74 and was buried at Oakwood Cemetery, Macomb, McDonough Co., Illinois.[1][10]
