Josephine Heron was born in April 1870 in Osprey, Grey, Ontario, Canada to Lavinia Lounc and Thomas Heron.
In 1871, Josephine lived with her parents and eight siblings in Osprey, South Grey, Ontario, Canada. [1] She immigrated to the United States in 1874 and became a naturalized citizen.
Josephine married Grant Elliott, born in Illinois, in about 1890. In 1892, they lived in Buffalo, Ward 23, Erie, New York. Grant was employed as a machinist. [2]
Josephine and Grant lived in Buffalo, Ward 22, Erie, New York in 1900. Josephine's widowed mother, Lavinia Heron, lived with them. Grant was a machinist. [3]
In 1910, Josephine and Grant resided on Whitney Place in Ward 24 of Buffalo. They were childless. Grant continued to be employed as a machinist and Josephine did not have an outside occupation. [4]
Josephine and Grant lived on Congress Street in Ward 22 of Buffalo in 1920. Grant was employed as a wood-working machinist. They had a boarder, Albert Michaels. [5][6]
Josephine died on October 17, 1927 and was buried in Buffalo Cemetery next to Grant, who died in 1926. [7]
