Biography

Elizabeth Herone married Vincencius Haris on 23 Apr 1559 at St John the Baptist Croydon, Surrey.^[1]

A Harris pedigree in the Visitation of Essex noted that Elizabeth, daughter of Thomas Hearon of 'Eglescombe', Surrey, had married Vincent Harris, son of William Harris and Joane Smithe. They had a son Thomas (later Sir Thomas) Harris and a daughter Susanna.^[2]

Another source stated that she was the daughter of Thomas Hearon of Addiscombe, Surrey.^[3]

Elizabeth pre-deceased her husband as in his will his then wife was named Mary.^[4]
