Biography

Abigail was born June 15, 1701, daughter of Stephen Herrick and Elizabeth (Trask) Herrick, in Beverly, Massachusetts.[1][2] She was baptized 28 June 1701 at the First Parish Unitarian Church in Beverly[3]

Abigail Herrick and John Rea, of Salem, married at Salem, Apr 22, 1718.[4] The marriage is recorded in Beverly, & Salem [Salem Vital Records to 1849] and in Preston, CT [Barbour Collection].

Abigail Rea, w of John died in Preston, Conn. Jan 1 1746/7 in Preston.[5]

Children: Apparently the town records listed the children of John Rea and Abigail in some cases three times, with varying dates. Vol 1:10 also records the marriage of John and Abigail. Vol 1:113 records the death of wife Abigail.[5]
