Biography

Elizabeth Jane Hilda Hellier was born in 1860, in Sidbury, Devon, England, the second daughter of Emmanuel Heller and Caroline Page. She arrived in Adelaide with her parents and sisters Eliza and Hetty on the ship "Charlotte Gladstone" on the 16 Jun 1866.

She married John Ross Rolland on 21 Feb 1878 at Mount Pleasant, Talunga, South Australia. Elizabeth and John had eight children, four girls and four boys. Her employment was shown as Post Mistress.

Elizabeth died on 18th April 1893, age 33, at Mount Pleasant, Talunga, South Australia. Death Reg #209/170
