The source for the given name 'Janet' is unknown (other than it showing in Ancestry citations of ' Netherlands, GenealogieOnline Trees Index') and most sources describe her merely being a daughter of Herbett Herris of Terregles.

Janet's parents both have birth dates that would make them around 10 when she was born. There is some wiggle room to back up Janet's mother's birth year, but not her father (his parents are shown as being approx 20 and 15 when he was born).
